[New Drama] The Liar And His Lover Episode 1 - 4

Always a happy pok whenever it comes to starting a new drama. It's like the first day of school - you're jittery with butterflies in the stomach but anticipating at the same time, wondering who's the next prince charming in line ready to bewitch your soul away.

And so, here's Lee Hyun Woo's comeback, warmly supported by Kim Soo Hyun in his ig post, and given a little push during my trip to korea, it makes an honourable entrance to my list of should-watch dramas. Oh wait, breaking out into random songs amid the acting, a musical drama? Hang on, he's gonna kiss a minor? I know I shouldn't kick a fuss out of it given Korea's dating culture, but but... you're sure this could be aired?

Good, it halts there. I wasn't ready to absorb this at the mere third episode, let's leave it to later yea. Maybe three years later.

A short introduction to the show. Lee Hyun Woo plays a talented producer who's entangled in a convoluted relationship with his former band, meets a girl with an angelic voice and has his producer instinct activated. But we have another competitor who beats him to it - a fellow band mate Chan Young - and now Han Kyul must be regretting like hell. Price to pay for his little lies tsk tsk.

Hope this drama sizzles summer right and not char it into ashes.
