The drama started out really strong, Lee Jun Ki's acting was a blast, the tight-paced story plot tugged your heartstrings and you couldn't wait to see the secret plan unveil. But when things unfolded and were blatantly laid out in the light, the show halted and fell into a state of stagnation. No gear to push the show forward, worse still, our protagonists turned from active pursuers to passive puppets mulling over pointless topics. I was almost dying from the frustrated chest hittings.
But I'm glad the show pulls itself together to give us new discoveries. So it shouldn't be Gwi drinking Yangsun's blood, but Sungyeol? Interesting. I like this twist, because it's complicating matters and making it more antagonising, since emotional factors are in play this time round and our hero has to decide which to forfeit. It's a fight between the inner good and evil now.
