[Review] Who Are You - School 2015 Episode 16 (End)
Tell me it's not over.
And they have successfully created yet another scene worth parodying for, most probably, if it's an SBS drama.
This is one of those few dramas I would love to die for. Such compelling storyline that magnifies the struggles we face during our young adult age - grades, relationship, feelings, failures. Simple things that we could have forgotten as we age along the way, emotions that we have once felt as an 18-year-old. The world may be complicated, but as long as we stay true to ourselves, the innocence will not be lost.
I actually love how Tae Kwang's one-sided love was handled. On contrary to what adults(?) would normally think, as reflected in Teacher Kim's words, Tae Kwang eventually did not succumb to lying that he was alright letting go his love, but instead admit that he couldn't stop liking Eunbi, and that he would continue to do so. Do away with all the noble idiocy, and three claps for Tae Kwang for being honest with his feelings! Those young age when we could scream our inner feelings aloud without caring whatsoever. Why suffer in silence and live in unhappiness, right?
Yi-an's competition was another segment that has really touched me. The show does not pamper us by displaying an injured superhero miraculously winning a match, but rather, spends time conveying how he learns to finish his race despite being last. That is sportsmanship, and the first step of picking himself up from failure.
Once again, Kim So Hyun has astounded me with her flawless acting skills. Otherwise, the show would not have been this completed. A drama that I strongly recommend to watch for this year, no regrets. The only hard time you will encounter is to ponder which guy to choose, lol.
For Tae Kwang x Eunbi shippers:
Now that I think of it, how could Eunbi not choose Tae Kwang?! He is always the first to sense if Eunbi is swapped or not, and those words of asking her to be whoever she wants to be in front of him... Oh my god.
Yi-an x Eunbi version. The song got a little on my nerve though, lol.
