[New Drama] Orange Marmalade Episode 1 - 3
Time for flails and screams.
Teen drama Orange Marmalade has been hitting the right buttons since its premiere a week ago, which casts a new bloodline consisting of Yeo Jinguk, Kim Seolhyun and Lee Jonghyun entangled in a vampire-cum-human love relationship. Jinguk was absolutely adorable when he flustered for various reasons (I'm definitely not referring to his lascivious dream heh), and Jonghyun was killing with his charms. In fact, I'm so awed by his improved acting skills (Remember his days in A Gentleman's Dignity? My fingers curled at his scenes.) And it is funny he actually landed himself in a vampire role - I knew this day would come given his super pale complexion and ghostly appearance, but I never expect it to be so soon. The most promising candidate for korean version of Edward Pattison, I'd say.
By far, the interaction between the leads are great, and occasionally it's inducing screams in you that need to be muffled into silence. For sweetness overload, of course. We are already seeing complications piling up, and in the mean time, the forbidden love growing. More jealousy fight before the real fallout and angst alright? Fridays seem so beautiful now yay.
