[Review] High School Love On (Final)
I am so thrilled to pull the poppers when the 20-episodes fantasy drama finally ends its 5 months running this weekend. No more reason to stand the nonsense! All's well that end well, and it is not hard to sense the determination the show has to pair every couple up, and yes, not forgetting reviving the image of Sunggyu.
One disturbing thought that remains unresolved is the love Sunbae has for Seulbi. I don't get why this love is discredited so much. Like Seulbi, Sunbae has sacrificed himself as much in order to exchange for Seulbi's life, and if I put it into another drama's context, both could start afresh with new memories. Of course, I know Seulbi and Woohyun are the meant-to-be in this drama, but looking at how Angel President is so prejudiced against Sunbae's love makes me want to overthrow that idea so much. Alright, just my two cents' worth of thought.
Last thing, why can't Seulbi just keep herself away for one year before the angel mark disappears? Apply one year Leave of Absence or something like that. Ok fine, I know the drama can't carry on if she really does that duh.
