[New Drama] Return of Iljimae
It's not exactly new given that it's aired on 2009 (and has been classified as 'MBC Classic' lol), but that doesn't give me any reason for not watching. XD
The drama opens up to a very strange modern setting, where Iljimae, dressed in black as per usual, swiftly darted through the buildings and eventually saved a girl being held hostage. Among these he was followed closely by a girl busily photographing him, and when their eyes locked, a mysterious flow of chemistry could be sensed as he left a note on his phone:
옷깃 스치는 인연을 다음에... (Our paths will cross next time...)
We are transported back to the past, and a fresh but familiar face welcomes us.
Wikipedia confirms my suspicions. This is Lee Hyun Woo five years back, can you believe it? Jung Il Woo hasn't change one bit but for Hyun Woo, I almost can't recognise him. He definitely grows at least 50cm gahhhh. Well, he's 16 years old then...
