The Plane That Almost Never Makes It To Busan

I'm only away from home for two days but it already felt like eternity. Everything is insane, just so insane.

I set off yesterday in the noon to the airport, and flight was delayed. It's actually fine, since yesterday was scheduled to be a day to slack off in a KL hotel. Watched Voice of China late into the night, and slept for a few hours before a morning call was given at 5am. Things started to turn awry then. Had a quick breakfast and we caught the shuttlebus (1hr interval) back to klia airport - and the guy told us there's no space to contain our luggage since the storage area was full. Fine, lugged the luggage onto the bus and crammed it with our seats, and we have to sit like twisted puppets. Reached the airport early and we killed time at a book store. Reading Warren Buffett at 6.30am did wake me up lol. And we were slowly strolling to the boarding place when we realised people were running towards it. What? Omg, final call. For the first time I need to run for a flight when I was freaking in the airport way earlier. What's this man.

Flew from 8.30am to 3+pm, and the announcement says that because of the weather condition in busan (a typhoon I think), gimhae airport is closed. We are heading to incheon. What? So we flew to incheon and waited for an hour, wait for this and that, and finally orders are given to fly back to busan. After all these chaos we touched down at 7pm, and the entire cabin broke into applause lol. Everyone can't wait to get their ass out of the plane. So it took another 100 years for us to reclaim our luggage (since multiple delayed fights flew in at the same time), the domino effect resulted in us not being able to purchase the simcard (for data = navigation) since it closes at a freaking 7pm. No choice we have to leave for our accommodation (which took another few mountains to cross), and the owner is not in. We are basically stuck in nowhere, at 9pm.

While seeking refugee at a supermart and borrowing a phone (to call the owner), we decided that if nothing works out, we shall just check in to a hotel and leave for seoul tomorrow morning (ANGST). But luckily things turned out alright and now we're cosily settled in the room. It's actually a residential house in the neighbourhood, so I'm living a downright korean civilian life lol eggcited. Went for our dinner aka our first meal in korea... BBQ! Need to reward ourselves from going through all the hardships right. Anyway, hope tomorrow could be a better one (though busan is forecasted to rain everyday).
