Shinigami-kun (死神くん) 1-9 (End)
Shinigami-kun brought down its curtain yesterday night with the airing of the final episode - where Shinigami No 413 faces the crisis of diminishing. When a grim reaper decides to change the fate of death, we know that he can't live longer too.
The character that caught my sympathy throughout the drama was none other than Akuma, who plays a seemingly antagonist role but in reality is otherwise. The strange chemistry that sparked off between Akuma and Shinigami No.413 truly made us all go - You hope to be his friend, right? Look at his face fell when he's notified that his 'friend' is gone. Awww. How about leaving with him? You can reincarnate and fish alongside with him you know.
I am always a supporter of Ohno's dramas (given that I've not missed any single work of his), but being a fair critic, this drama was really so-so but shockingly it made me tear every single episode. My favourite would be the episode with the baseball/insurance guy, that was so touching.
