LOL. grown up 田易翔 is funny. 5 years old + 2 years later + 8 years later = I assume he is 15 or maximum 16. But why did he grow so much like the guy who sells the 泡面?! and so not convincing when he shouted 勁陽爸爸, anyone in the right mind will see that as a bro hug, not a son to dad's. Either you have to olden their looks (stick some mustache or something) or make it a two years jump only, or else that's so hard to buy the story that ten years have passed.
After literally fourteen episodes of pulls and tugs and then returning back to square one (gosh can't believe they are still at the stage of contemplating whether they should be together or not), 原来爱就是甜蜜 has finally come to its end. All I barely could remember were: jinyang's endless apologies, xu ye's apologies too, ah mah's denial, xu mum's screaming...
If jinyang could have broken free from those useless apologies and showed more concrete action, the show wouldn't have evolved into such a pain in the ass. We need quality change! Not something that raise our expectation but slam us back to earth, process multiplied by 14 times. Having said that, perhaps xu ye did a better job in portraying a character who grows with circumstances. If he'd decided to stick out like a nuisance who is unable to let bygones be bygones, I'm trashing this show straight. Even extras like Rebecca grows, so why can't ah ma and jinyang do the same?
Of course, as much as I'm not satisfied by the sudden attitude change at the back (where has jinyang's persistency gone, down the drain? ahma, please explain your stand and stop contradicting yourself), they got together alas. An unspoken fact that we're never worried about, it's just that how it happened was disappointing. Does pulling your worlds closer solve the problem? Because to me, that wasn't the root cause of all chaos, and quoting your front part theory, only when the families truly accept this relationship, then it will work out. Otherwise, we are only anticipating history to repeat itself. *Returning back to square one for the 15th time.
