W - Two Worlds Episode 13: When The Variables Change

That dangling bloodied hand is going to leave us dangling as well for the next one week. Quit being evil, Show! You saw Kang Chul's face, didn't you! Seems like the world is crashing down on him again, sigh.

Throughout the episode I have been questioning myself about the genre of the drama. Did I miss it out or is this a horror thriller to start with? Yes, the romantic scenes make us giddy and silly, but never have I been at ease about the blissful moments. especially when we're seeing borders being feathered out - probably a fairytale dream that will never come true. Indeed, things do not go as planned (again) as the variables change to let Face Killer charge into reality and kidnap Yeon Joo back to the manhwa world. And he SHOOTS her. Omona. Female lead dying? Died? Seol-mal. o.O

I thought it is particularly poignant when Kang Chul turns into a monster on rampage and fires uncontrollably at Face Killer, who instantly died (huh so easily?) in his seat. He has become a killer himself, a conflict to his 'righteous' protagonist character, and would killing Face Killer out of rage erase his existence and purpose to the whole story? Not sure we're venturing into this, but I hope we're leaving it unexplored.

Three more episodes? Go go go.
